Value Additions:

Feature Enhancements in CaliberLIMS^® 3.0 :

     The entire CaliberLIMS^® Application has been rebuilt on the Microsoft ASP.net platform with n-tier (5 tiers) web architecture. Complete OOPS (Object Oriented Programming) concepts have been implemented by designing a special model called Caliber OOPM, keeping in view all the requirements of the regulated industries. With the above model approach, the development process as per the standards and configuration could be well controlled. This has resulted in clear separation of the layers, uniform object functionality, lesser testing burden, higher consistency and uniform look & feel.

     Improvements were made in Product/Material Registration, Test registration, Worksheets, sample login, chemical inventory, etc.. There are also enhancements in features like Barcode Label Print, Sample assignment, batching and sample status reports. User interface has been enhanced to meet the contemporary design styles and look & feel. User interface has hyperlinks incorporated wherever there is a need to see more information. A dashboard view provides a quick graphical tour of the logged in user's tasks and promotes the speed of action.

     A Label Printing Module has also been developed to simplify and automate the task of printing the data on various pre-printed label templates. There is also a stand-alone version of the Label Printing Module.

New Modules For CaliberLIMS^® 3.0 :

     In addition to the feature enhancements as above, a number of new modules have been introduced to work in conjunction with the basic CaliberLIMS^® product. These add-on modules add enormous value to the basic CaliberLIMS^® product. Some of these modules assume the role of a mini ERP for the laboratory, by aiding in the management and control of the lab resources.

     A Label Printing Module has also been developed to simplify and automate the task of printing the data on various pre-printed label templates. There is also a stand-alone version of the Label Printing Module.
